8 Easy Steps to Grow an Avocado Seed

  • Cut the avocado fruit that has been completely cooked into two pieces. You may use a spoon to slice to prevent hurting the seed. For the flesh, you can set aside for consumption.
  • Rinse avocado seed and dry it
  • Provide a pot which already filled with humus soil
  • Make a hole above the soil in the center of the pot, and lay an avocado seed.
  • Keep the soil moist by always watering morning and afternoon.
  • After the avocado grows about 15-20 cm, you can move the small avocado tree to the ground that has been hollowed before. When moving the small avocado tree, let the soil from pot keep to be planted together, so that the avocado tree does not stress when in new place.
  • After the avocado tree grows high enough, approximately as high as an adult, break each shoot so that the avocado tree is not getting taller. This is a good way to make the avocado tree you have planted does not grow to a great height.
  • Now it is time to wait for your avocado tree to grow big in the ground. You may take several years to wait until the avocado tree you have planted bears many avocado fruit.
That is all the way to plant an avocado plant which can you practice at home, happy trying.
